Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Senior Utility Engineer (Electrical) in Riyadh to lead electrical discipline on major infrastructure and bridge programs across the GCC. You will review designs, supervise MV/LV networks, coordinate interfaces with roads and bridges, and drive safety and quality across multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• 15+ years of experience in electrical utility engineering, bridges projects, and construction supervision.
• Proven experience with MV/LV networks, substations, street lighting, ICT, and telecoms.
• Experience on major bridge and transportation projects with utility coordination and interface management.
• Strong knowledge of international standards and construction practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership on large multidisciplinary infrastructure and bridge projects.
• Review and supervise electrical utility designs for compliance with requirements and standards.
• Coordinate utility interfaces with bridge, road, and transportation works.
• Monitor and report project performance, progress, quality, and technical compliance.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations and promote safety culture.
• Manage and coordinate contractors, consultants, and stakeholders throughout delivery.
• Provide expertise on power distribution networks, substations, street lighting, ICT, and relocations.
• Support budgeting, design reviews, construction supervision, and project delivery from concept to completion.
