Job summary

Atkins Realis Group in Riyadh is seeking a Senior Dry Utilities Engineer to support infrastructure projects across the GCC, focusing on dry utilities networks including power distribution, substations, street lighting, telecoms and ICT.

You will assemble and analyze data, provide technical delivery support, report on project performance, uphold health and safety, lead a developing team, and engage with clients to grow the networking profile.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Minimum 10+ years of dry utilities engineering experience in GCC/UAE.
• Proven experience leading complex multidisciplinary infrastructure projects.
• Extensive knowledge of power distribution systems, substations, street lighting, telecoms/ICT.

Job Description Overview

The AtkinsR alis Infrastructure Business is seeking a highly motivated detail oriented self-starter to join our Riyadh office as a Senior Dry Utilities Engineer. The Engineer will support infrastructure multi-disciplinary projects for clients in GCC including planning designing and engineering related to dry utilities networks which may be comprised of power MV LV substations electrical networks renewable energy resources street lighting telecommunication.

Your role

Job also requires ability to assemble and analyze data.

Technical support on large multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects delivery.

Report on project performance.

Ensure compliance with Health amp Safety regulations and ensure that a good Health amp Safety culture is engendered within the team.

Assist in developing a highly motivated and performing team creating opportunities for the development of individuals.

Provide technical expertise on a variety of large engineering projects.

Increase your networking profile with both internal and external clients.

About you

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.

Minimum 10+ years of experience in dry utilities engineering, with significant UAE/GCC infrastructure project experience.

Proven experience leading complex multidisciplinary infrastructure and utilities projects.

Extensive knowledge of power distribution systems, substations, street lighting, telecommunications, ICT, and security infrastructure.

Experience managing utility coordination and obtaining authority approvals for major developments.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit/BIM, DIALux, and related engineering software.

Strong project management, design management, and construction support experience.

Excellent communication, technical report writing, and presentation skills.

Demonstrated leadership, team management, and stakeholder engagement capabilities.

Strong commercial awareness and ability to manage project budgets and resources.

Experience in sustainable infrastructure, renewable energy integration, and smart city developments is advantageous.

Ability to deliver multiple projects within a fast-paced multidisciplinary environment.
