Job summary

Shapoorji Pallonji Mideast LLC., Riyadh seeks an experienced Electrical Estimator to lead a team, develop comprehensive cost estimates for complex projects such as high-rise buildings, hotels, malls and metro schemes. You will review specs, perform takeoffs, assess risks and drive accurate bid submissions.

You will collaborate with project managers, engineers and subcontractors, present cost breakdowns, and contribute to value engineering and profitability through informed cost control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in electrical estimation for high-rise buildings, hotels, malls, hospitals, villas and metro projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret complex technical information.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with clients, subcontractors and stakeholders.
• Leadership abilities to mentor a team of estimators.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Experience in value engineering and cost optimization.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of electrical estimators providing technical guidance.
• Analyze project specs, drawings and docs to develop comprehensive electrical cost estimates.
• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs for electrical systems.
• Identify and assess project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers and subcontractors to gather information and ensure accurate bid submissions.
• Prepare and present detailed cost breakdowns, bid summaries and proposals to clients.
• Manage a database of vendor pricing, labor rates and material costs.
• Review subcontractor bids for compliance and discrepancies.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in estimating.
