Job summary

Otis Elevator Company Saudi Arabia Ltd seeks a Safety Officer to coordinate safety activities, audits, and training across sites. The role requires 5+ years’ experience, relevant certifications, and strong reporting, analytical, and communication skills.

You will drive EH&S compliance, conduct risk assessments, and lead incident investigations while maintaining safety records and supporting tools certification across our operations.

Qualifications

• 05 years minimum experience as Safety officer.
• NEBOSH IGC and IOSH managing safely certifications.
• ISO 45001 Lead Auditor certification.
• Knowledge of OSHA.
• First Aid and fire fighting certifications.
• Knowledge of potentially hazardous materials or practices.
• Experience in writing reports and policies for Health and Safety.
• Familiarity with data analysis and reporting statistics.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present and explain health and safety topics.
• BS C/BA in safety management or related field preferred.
• Certificate in Health and Safety field.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all safety activities including preparing internal and external reports.
• Coordinate and carry out audits and reviews according to company targets.
• Develop training programs for operations engineers and supervisors on EH&S requirements.
• Provide assistance and technical support on safety periodical requirements.
• Train engineers and supervisors on investigations, hazards, and corrective actions.
• Conduct unannounced EH&S audits and review supporting documentation.
• Comply with Safety Policy and regulatory EH&S rules.
• Recommend improved EH&S practices.
• Ensure workplace safety for all employees (office and field).
• Monitor communications system for regular safety updates and tools certification.
• Conduct written Risk Assessments for new projects as required.
• Ensure external audit observations are addressed within deadlines.
• Investigate and ensure timely reporting of accidents and preventive actions.
• Maintain methodical safety records.
