Job summary

Allegis Group seeks a Senior e-Powertrain Process Engineer for a major EV manufacturing launch in Saudi Arabia. You will own and develop automotive powertrain processes, lead equipment commissioning, qualification activities and ramp-up across a high-volume production environment.

You will drive APQP/PPAP, PFMEA and process validation, optimise cycle times and OEE, and mentor production technicians. Fluent English and hands-on engineering leadership are essential for success in this

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechatronics or related Engineering discipline
• Minimum 5 years' experience in high-volume manufacturing environments
• Strong process engineering experience within automotive, powertrain, electronics, electric motors, battery, or related manufacturing sectors
• Experience with APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plans and process validation
• Strong knowledge of SPC, DOE, MSA and capability analysis
• Hands-on experience supporting production lines and manufacturing operations
• Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder management skills
• Fluent English communication skills

Responsibilities

• Own and develop manufacturing processes within your designated production area
• Lead equipment commissioning, qualification activities and production readiness
• Drive APQP, PPAP and process validation activities
• Optimise cycle times, line balancing and manufacturing efficiency
• Lead root cause investigations and structured problem-solving activities
• Improve quality, yield, downtime performance and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE)
• Implement process controls, SPC and traceability systems
• Work closely with suppliers, quality teams and production stakeholders
• Support continuous improvement initiatives throughout ramp-up and full-scale production
• Train and mentor production technicians and operators
