Job summary

ANDRITZ is seeking a Senior Technical Sales Engineer – Digital Solutions in Saudi Arabia to drive automation and digitalization projects across diverse industrial sectors. You will act as a trusted technical advisor, shaping customer requirements and delivering innovative solutions that improve performance and reliability.

You will lead pre-sales activities, collaborate with sales, engineering, and product teams, and travel to support customers globally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level engineering degree and 7+ years in technical sales, applications, automation or related field.
• Strong knowledge of automation, process control, industrial networking, motion control, robotics, and protocols.
• Experience with industrial digital solutions incl. process simulation, digital twins, APC, RTO and soft sensors.
• Proficiency in Python, C++, PLC programming, and Ladder Logic.
• Ability to analyze requirements and develop technically sound, commercially viable solutions.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally; experience in global or matrix organizations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical liaison between customers, sales teams, and engineering throughout the lifecycle.
• Analyze customer requirements and develop automation and digitalization solutions aligned with objectives.
• Provide technical support for product selection, system integration, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
• Develop and deliver technical presentations, workshops, and solution reviews for customers and internal stakeholders.
• Support pre-sales activities including evaluations, quotations, proposals, bid responses, and customer visits.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to identify enhancements and new offerings.
• Conduct market research to identify technologies and growth opportunities.
• Promote digital solutions such as process simulation, digital twins, APC, RTO, and soft sensors.
