Job summary

Qiddiya is seeking a Senior Manager - Planning and Design to lead the development and implementation of design guidelines across all projects. You will coordinate with the Design Director and oversee consultant selection, contracts, and performance to ensure delivery aligns with the master plan.

You will guide project teams in design strategy, review deliverables, and manage schedules and budgets to achieve project goals, maintaining quality standards and alignment with strategic objectives.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating multiple design disciplines.
• Ability to advise on consultant selection and contract processes.
• Strong understanding of design guidelines and master planning.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement design guidelines for all development projects in coordination with the Design Director.
• Ensure development and successful implementation of design plans to achieve goals for all assigned projects.
• Advise leadership on suitable design consultant candidates through outreach, RFPs, contracts and administration with the Design Director.
• Support project teams in development of design strategies for efficient completion of projects.
• Support design, development and construction teams with schedules, budgets and plans.
• Ensure periodic internal design reviews to align with the overall plan and take corrective actions.
• Review design deliverables and provide recommendations to meet quality standards and strategic objectives.
• Coordinate between multiple consultants from pre-concept to execution in line with Qiddiya's master plan.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and ensure implementation of design guidelines for all development projects in coordination with the Design Director
• Ensure development and successful implementation of design plan in order to ensure successful achievement of design goals for all assigned projects
• Advise leadership team on the most suitable design consultant candidates through initial outreach, RFP development, contract execution and contract administration in coordination with the Design Director
• Provide support to development project teams in the development of design strategies in order to ensure efficient completion of project as and when needed.
• Provide support to the design, development and construction teams regarding the development schedules, budgets and plans
• Ensure periodic internal design reviews in order to ensure alignment with overall plan and take corrective actions when needed.
• Review design related deliverables and provide recommendations as and when needed in order to ensure compliance with quality standards and achievement of strategic objectives
• Ensure coordination between multiple consultants from pre-concept through execution to ensure alignment to Qiddiya's master plan.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture or related field.
• Master's Degree in Engineering, Architecture or related field preferred.
• Minimum 9-12 total years of relevant experience
