AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Senior Design Manager – Electrical to lead the electrical design for hospitality and mixed-use assets in Saudi Arabia. You will oversee power distribution, lighting, ELV systems, and smart technologies to deliver high-end guest experiences.

• Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 20+ years of electrical design experience.
• Hospitality or mixed-use development experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Saudi Electrical Code and international standards.
• Strong coordination with architects and MEP teams.
• Familiarity with BIM and smart building technologies.

Overview

The Senior Design Manager – Electrical will be responsible for leading the electrical design of hospitality and leisure assets, ensuring reliability, safety, and high-end guest experience. This includes power distribution, lighting, ELV systems, and smart technologies.

Your role

• Manage electrical design development from concept to IFC stage


• Oversee power systems, lighting design, and ELV integration (ICT, security, AV)


• Ensure compliance with local and international electrical codes


• Coordinate with architects and MEP teams for seamless integration


• Drive innovative solutions in smart systems and energy efficiency


• Manage consultants and review design quality


• Support procurement, installation, testing, and commissioning phases

About You

• Degree in Electrical Engineering


• 20+ years in electrical design, preferably in hospitality or mixed-use developments


• Expertise in lighting design and guest experience-driven solutions


• Knowledge of Saudi Electrical Code and international standards


• Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills


• Familiarity with BIM and smart building technologies
