Job summary

Excis is seeking an experienced Database Team Lead to oversee Oracle and SQL Server environments across enterprise systems in Saudi Arabia. This role demands hands-on expertise with Oracle RAC, Data Guard, SQL Server Always On, clustering, and advanced backup/recovery strategies.

You will mentor DBAs, set standards, drive incident RCA, and coordinate upgrades, migrations, and capacity planning while ensuring security and high availability for mission-critical databases hosted in cloud and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of enterprise database administration experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Database 11g/12c/19c/21c.
• Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Extensive experience with Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, and Replication.
• SQL Server Always On, Replication, and clustering.
• Advanced database performance tuning and query optimization.
• Experience with Azure, AWS, and/or OCI.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee enterprise Oracle and SQL Server environments.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to database administrators.
• Establish database administration standards and best practices.
• Review configurations, changes, upgrades, and maintenance activities.
