Job summary

Euro Staffs is seeking an experienced Oracle Database Consultant in Riyadh for a full-time, on-site role. You will design, implement, and optimize Oracle database environments, ensuring performance, security, and high availability across development, testing, and production systems.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of Oracle DBA experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and familiarity with RAC, Data Guard, RMAN, and Enterprise Manager. Local Saudi work authorization and on-site work required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience administering and consulting on Oracle Database environments.
• Strong Oracle DBA, performance tuning, backup and recovery, and security.
• Experience with Oracle RAC, Data Guard, RMAN, ASM, and Enterprise Manager.

Responsibilities

• Design, install, configure, and maintain Oracle Database environments across development, testing, and production systems.
• Monitor database performance and implement tuning strategies to optimize efficiency and reliability.
• Perform database upgrades, migrations, patch management, and version control activities.
• Develop and maintain backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures to ensure business continuity.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues, performance bottlenecks, and system failures.
• Implement database security controls, user access management, and data protection measures.
• Support high-availability solutions including Oracle Data Guard, RAC, and replication technologies.
• Collaborate with application developers and business stakeholders to optimize database design and application performance.
• Conduct database health checks, audits, and capacity planning assessments.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and system architecture diagrams.
• Provide technical recommendations and best practices for database governance and lifecycle management.
• Support cloud and hybrid database initiatives where applicable.
