Job summary

The Red Sea Development Company is seeking a Senior Coordinator for Transport and Distribution to support the Transport & Distribution Department by gathering, cleansing, sorting and aggregating data from multiple sources and then translating it into output reports and presentations.

Responsibilities include coordinating shipments with shipping companies, managing distribution flow, inventory accuracy, order review, route planning, supplier coordination, cost optimization, and cross-departmental

Qualifications

• Recognized degree in Data Science, Analytics or Data Management related field (MBA preferred).
• A minimum of 3 years in a supply chain and logistics operations field (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Working with shipping companies to ensure that shipments arrive on time and in good condition
• Coordinating the flow of materials and products through distribution centers or warehouses
• Maintaining accurate inventory records in order to identify overstocks or shortages
• Reviewing orders to make sure they have been filled correctly and that all necessary information is included
• Planning routes and schedules for transport vehicles in order to meet delivery deadlines
• Coordinating with suppliers or vendors to arrange deliveries of materials or products to clients
• Developing new methods for storing or transporting goods that can help reduce costs or increase efficiency
• Reviewing shipping costs to determine the most cost effective method of transporting goods
• Supporting other departments within a company by providing them with logistical support during events such as trade shows

Education

Degree in Data Science / Analytics / Data Management

MBA preferred
