Job summary

Allianz Trade in the GCC region seeks a seasoned risk professional to assess SME and large Caps using their grading methodology, shaping underwriting and credit decisions.

You will monitor portfolios, present quarterly sector insights, and collaborate with underwriting, commercial and claims teams. Requires 5–8 years in Banking, Audit/Consulting or Credit Insurance, fluency in English and Arabic, and CFA or equivalent qualifications.

Qualifications

• Experience in Banking, Audit/Consulting or Credit Insurance industry.
• Strong business writing and communication skills in English; Arabic required.
• Masters in Finance/Accounting with CFA or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess SME and large Caps using Allianz Grading Methodology.
• Monitor portfolio per sensitivity thresholds and ensure market presence via buyers visits.
• Prepare and present detailed quarterly sector insights and reports.
• Interact with Underwriting, Commercial & Claims departments to align on risk.
• Contribute to transversal projects within Credit Intelligence Department.

Your challenge

- Assessing SME's and large Caps with grading assigned that will impact commercial and risk underwriting stance.

• Assessment in line with Euler Hermes/ Allianz Grading Methodolody and key risk factors by sector.
• Active monitoring of the portfolio as per sensitivity theresholds and ensuring market presence via buyers visits.
• Preparing and presenting detailed quarterly sectors insights and reports.
• Interaction and alignment with internal stakeholders (Underwriting, Commerical & Claims departments)
• Transversal projects within Credit Intelligence Department

You Are An Ideal Candidate If You Possess

• Is knowledgable on GCC markets and/or key regional trade sectors
• Business expertise
• minimum 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in Banking, Audit/Consulting or Credit Insurance industry.
• Interpersonal skills

• Ability to take and justifiy grading decisions
• Self motivation and eager for continious personal development
• Capacity to manage tasks/projects

• Educational requirements:
• Audit, Finance background Masters. in Finance/Accounting
