Hill International is recruiting a Senior Contracts Management Engineer in Jeddah. The post supports the whole contract lifecycle on the commission, from drafting and negotiation through implementation to compliance. The engineer reviews terms and conditions to identify risk and proposes the treatment for it, then works with the legal, finance and project management teams so that what is agreed matches the firm's own policies.

Deliverables, milestones and deadlines are tracked to completion, and contract related issues and disputes are expected to be resolved as they arise rather than accumulated. Regular contract audits test compliance against the obligations actually taken on. The engineer reports on contract performance and recommends changes to the way contracts are run.

Relationships with clients, suppliers and subcontractors sit with the post, and the posting treats keeping those relationships workable as part of the delivery rather than an adjunct to it. Hill asks for an engineering degree and at least fifteen years in contracts management, including overall responsibility for contract management on large scale projects. Experience of Saudi procurement law is specified.

So is demonstrated work in pricing, contract law, contract drafting, administration and the negotiation of change orders, together with prime contract administration and subcontract formation across a multi discipline construction project. Written and spoken fluency in Arabic and English is required.
