Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking an Assistant Construction Director, T&C and Hand-Over within the Transportation Project Delivery team in Riyadh. You will lead construction supervision across the project lifecycle, coordinating with the D&B contractor, clients and authorities to ensure safe, on-time delivery of multi-disciplinary transportation works.

The role demands 18+ years in construction/engineering, with at least 10 years in leadership.

Qualifications

• Degree in a related Architecture or Engineering discipline; Master’s degree preferred.
• Professional membership with a recognized engineering institution preferred.
• Minimum 18 years of experience in construction and engineering projects.
• At least 10 years in a managerial or leadership role within construction supervision or engineering consultancy.
• Proven experience overseeing medium or large-scale infrastructures, complex buildings and/or urban developments.
• Experience coordinating with contractors, consultants, and government authorities.
• Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills.
• Robust competency on construction supervision, site management, quality management and construction planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage construction supervision teams across the Project lifecycle.
• Ensure construction works delivered per approved designs, contract specs, quality standards, safety, budget and schedules.
• Oversee supervision teams, coordinate with clients and contractors, provide leadership for project delivery.
• Mentor and develop team members to maintain a high-performing organization.
• Promote a culture of safety, quality, collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Monitor project progress and identify risks, delays and issues.
• Direct corrective actions to minimize project impacts.
• Prepare periodic project performance reports for senior management and clients.
