Confidential Company in Dammam seeks a Senior Buyer (Construction) to manage procurement for civil, mechanical, electrical, and maintenance materials. You will oversee RFQs, supplier evaluations, and purchasing activities to ensure cost-effective, timely delivery.

The role requires 5–8 years of procurement experience in construction or related services, with strong negotiation and supplier relationship skills. Local market knowledge is essential for developing alternate sources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, engineering, or related field.
• 5–8 years procurement experience, preferably in construction, facilities management, contracting, or industrial services.
• Professional procurement certification such as CIPP, CPP, CIPS, or equivalent is an advantage.
• Hands-on experience purchasing civil, architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, consumable, spare parts, and general maintenance materials.
• Strong knowledge of local supplier markets, with the ability to identify and develop alternative sources when required.
• Experience preparing RFQs, commercial bid tabulations, purchase orders, supplier evaluations, and procurement status reports.
• Proven experience negotiating prices, delivery terms, warranties, and payment conditions with suppliers.
