Job summary

CareerFirst Company is seeking a seasoned Compliance & Control Consultant with 8+ years of experience to design comprehensive control programs and deliver strategic reporting to senior management.

In this role you will develop assessment checklists, oversee advanced monitoring, and perform root-cause analyses of non-compliance to prevent recurrence.

You will champion regulatory alignment, strengthen internal controls, and collaborate with executives to drive risk-based improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law, Business Administration, Accounting, Governance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in Compliance, Control, Governance, or Audit, with a strong background in a consultative or senior capacity.
• Expert knowledge in designing regulatory frameworks and compliance policies.
• Advanced analytical mindset for risk and control assessment.
• Exceptional executive reporting and presentation skills.
• Strategic problem-solving and critical thinking.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop robust compliance and control frameworks aligned with regulatory standards.
• Develop and optimize operational and field inspection checklists.
• Oversee advanced monitoring, inspection, and review programs.
• Conduct root cause analysis on violations and gaps to prevent recurrence.
• Evaluate effectiveness of internal controls and identify vulnerabilities.
• Draft and present executive control reports with risk indicators and findings.
