Job summary

neoleap seeks a senior Cloud Infrastructure Lead to oversee administration, optimization, and security of our cloud environments. You will ensure reliability, performance, and scalability while aligning with policy and best practices.

You will implement cloud solutions, manage OpenShift clusters, and drive automation and IaC to improve deployment efficiency; you will collaborate with cybersecurity, network, and application teams and mentor junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Experience leading cloud infrastructure initiatives.
• Strong OpenShift cluster administration and troubleshooting.
• Proficient in automation and Infrastructure as Code practices.
• Ability to develop technical documentation.

To lead the administration, optimization, and technical support of the organization’s cloud infrastructure, ensuring its reliability, performance, scalability, and security. The role is responsible for implementing cloud solutions, resolving complex technical issues, and supporting the delivery of secure and highly available IT services in accordance with organizational policies, procedures, and industry best practices

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage, maintain, and optimize the organization’s cloud infrastructure, including compute, storage, networking, and related services.
• Implement, configure, and upgrade cloud platforms and infrastructure components to meet operational and business requirements.
• Monitor cloud environments, analyze performance and capacity, and proactively address potential availability or performance issues.
• Lead the investigation and resolution of complex cloud infrastructure incidents and recurring technical problems.
• Deploy, configure, and support applications and services across cloud environments.
• Manage and support OpenShift environments, including cluster administration, deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Implement automation and Infrastructure as Code practices to improve deployment efficiency, consistency, and operational reliability.
• Apply cloud security controls and best practices to protect systems, applications, and organizational data.
• Support backup, disaster recovery, business continuity, and high-availability arrangements for cloud services.
• Conduct technical assessments and recommend improvements to cloud architecture, performance, security, and cost efficiency.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, system configurations, and architecture records.
• Coordinate with application, cybersecurity, network, and other IT teams to ensure effective integration and delivery of cloud services.
• Provide technical guidance and knowledge transfer to junior engineers and other team members.
• Support major cloud projects, migrations, upgrades, and technology implementations.
• Maintain awareness of emerging cloud and OpenShift technologies and recommend relevant solutions for organizational adoption.
• Ensure all cloud-related activities comply with organizational policies, procedures, technical standards, and regulatory requirements.
