Job summary

A leading recruitment agency in Riyadh is seeking a Senior Cloud Architect to lead the design and execution of enterprise cloud strategy. The Opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Cloud Architect to lead the design and execution of enterprise cloud strategy within a large-scale organisation in Riyadh. This is a high-impact, on-site role where you will work closely with business and technology leadership to shape cloud adoption across mission-critical systems. Given the nature of stakeholder engagement, Arabic language capability is strongly preferred.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

Cloud Strategy & Architecture: Define and drive enterprise cloud strategy across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP
Cloud Strategy & Architecture: Design secure, scalable, and highly available cloud architectures
Cloud Strategy & Architecture: Lead adoption of cloud-native and modern engineering practices
Solution Design & Delivery: Architect end-to-end solutions across multi-cloud and hybrid environments
Solution Design & Delivery: Design distributed, multi-tier applications at scale
Solution Design & Delivery: Ensure performance, resilience, and cost efficiency
Governance & Security: Establish cloud governance, architecture standards, and best practices
Governance & Security: Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements
Governance & Security: Act as the technical authority across all cloud initiatives
Stakeholder Management: Engage with senior business and technology stakeholders
Stakeholder Management: Translate business needs into scalable cloud solutions
Stakeholder Management: Guide engineering and DevOps teams throughout delivery

What We’re Looking For

Proven experience as a Cloud Architect in enterprise environments
Strong expertise in AWS, Azure, or GCP (multi-cloud highly desirable)
Deep knowledge of cloud architecture patterns, microservices, and distributed systems
Experience designing hybrid and multi-cloud solutions
Strong understanding of cloud security, networking, and governance frameworks
Background in software engineering or system design
Ability to work on-site in Riyadh full-time

Preferred
