Job summary

Wood is seeking a highly skilled Civil/Structural engineer in Saudi Arabia to join our design team. You will prepare engineering drawings, develop detailed plans for commercial, industrial and civil projects, and create CAD/CADD models in line with project standards.

The role requires a minimum of five years’ experience in civil/structural design, strong proficiency with CAD/D software, and the ability to interpret drawings and specifications.

Qualifications

• Full understanding of the materials and methods in the discipline.
• Understanding of related engineering principles and practices.
• Ability to interpret documents including engineering standards, piping material specifications, P&IDs and Line Lists.
• Technically oriented, mathematically strong and able to translate concepts into hands-on project plans.
• Competent user of CAD/D software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare engineering drawings from rough sketches per established standards.
• Create designs and detailed plans for civil, commercial, industrial projects.
• Plan and carry out varied, complex technical assignments.
• Produce CAD/CADD drawings, diagrams or models.
• Develop working drawings from equipment specifications and detailed drawings.
• Create bill of materials and ensure design output meets requirements.
• Coordinate on small projects and prepare specifications for equipment.
• Ensure quality and technical accuracy of drawings and quantities.
