Job summary

WSP Global Inc. is seeking a skilled Civil Inspector to manage on-site civil activities for water transmission and network projects. You will oversee from inception to completion, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance with design specifications.

Responsibilities include coordinating with clients, contractors, architects and regulators; reviewing site documentation; and leading QA/QC inspections. A PE license or eligibility and 5–10 years of site supervision experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field is required; PE license or eligibility preferred.
• Minimum 5–10 years of site supervision experience on water pipeline or IWTP projects.
• Proficient in AutoCAD or similar design tools and strong project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee civil activities from inception to completion on-site.
• Ensure compliance with contract requirements, design specifications, applicable codes and regulatory requirements.
• Develop project plans, schedules and budgets; monitor timelines and costs.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, architects and regulators; report progress to management.
• Conduct QA/QC inspections and address non-conformities; mentor junior staff.
