JASARA PMC is seeking an experienced transportation engineering professional in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia, to provide rigorous technical reviews of major road and highway infrastructure projects. The role requires multidisciplinary expertise across transportation, drainage, structural, geotechnical, and utility interfaces.
You will review and coordinate submissions, ensure compliance with SHC, MOT, AASHTO, and international standards, and support design development through constructability and risk
Provide technical review for major road and highway infrastructure projects. The role requires a
multidisciplinary understanding of transportation engineering, drainage, structures, geotechnics, traffic
engineering, and utility interfaces to support design development and technical assurance activities.
Carry out the technical review of highway, roadway, interchange, and infrastructure designs.
Review and coordinate multidisciplinary engineering submissions, including transportation,
drainage, structural, geotechnical, utilities, and traffic engineering packages.
Ensure compliance with project requirements, Saudi Highway Code (SHC), MOT standards,
AASHTO, and relevant international standards.
Review design reports, drawings, calculations, specifications, BOQs, and technical studies.
Coordinate with design consultants, contractors, and stakeholders during all design stages.
Evaluate technical proposals, value engineering initiatives, and alternative design solutions.
Support constructability reviews and design-for-construction assessments.
Review drainage systems, hydraulic studies, stormwater management solutions, culverts,
channels, and erosion protection measures.
Review road structures including bridges, retaining walls, underpasses, and associated civil
infrastructure.
Participate in technical workshops, design reviews, risk assessments, and value engineering
studies.
Support permitting, authority coordination, and stakeholder engagement activities.
Monitor consultant performance and ensure quality design outputs are delivered in accordance
with project schedules.
Prepare technical comments, CRS reviews, engineering recommendations, and management
reports.
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
Master’s Degree in Transportation Engineering is preferred.
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in transportation and highway engineering.
Experience in major infrastructure, highways, interchanges, bridges, and transportation
programs.
Experience reviewing multidisciplinary engineering designs.
Proficiency in Civil 3D, OpenRoads, AutoCAD, MicroStation, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS and related
engineering software.
Experience working within PMC, client, or design consultancy environments
