Job summary

Confidential is seeking a Civil Engineer to oversee civil construction activities from execution to completion in Riyadh. The role demands strong site supervision, technical coordination, quantity verification, progress monitoring, and contractor management to ensure adherence to drawings, specs, quality standards, schedules, and contracts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in civil construction.
• Valid registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers.
• Strong construction, site supervision, and project execution experience.
• Ability to review drawings, quantities, progress, quality and contractor performance.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit and Primavera P6.
• Good English communication; Arabic is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Oversee civil construction activities on site to conform with drawings and specs.
• Review and interpret architectural, structural and civil drawings for clarity.
• Monitor progress against schedules and address delays or risks.
• Verify quantities, material requirements and completed works.
• Ensure quality control and compliance with standards and specs.
• Conduct site inspections of workmanship, methods, materials and safety.
• Evaluate contractor performance and enforce contractual obligations.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants and suppliers to resolve issues.
• Identify design conflicts and coordinate practical resolutions on site.
• Prepare progress reports highlighting achievements and issues.
• Support closeout activities including as‑built records and handover requirements.
