Job summary

Egis is seeking a Senior CAD/GIS Technician to support the Riyadh Metro Project Management and Construction Management team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role emphasizes advanced CAD/GIS capabilities to create detailed drawings, analyze spatial data, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure top technical standards.

You will mentor junior technicians, manage project data, and contribute to precise documentation and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Must have advanced CAD tools proficiency (AutoCAD, Civil 3D).
• Strong GIS capabilities with ArcGIS or QGIS.
• Minimum 8 years in CAD/GIS roles, 2+ in senior/lead capacity.
• Experience with metro, transit, or large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Familiarity with Saudi Arabian standards is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain CAD models and technical drawings for metro projects.
• Conduct spatial analysis and create GIS maps to support planning and design decisions.
• Manage and organize project data with accuracy and standards compliance.
• Coordinate with engineering, PM, and construction teams to translate designs into documentation.
• Provide technical recommendations to improve design efficiency and feasibility.
• Mentor junior CAD/GIS technicians and ensure quality standards.
• Prepare and update project databases with current spatial and design data.
• Conduct QA reviews of drawings and GIS data to resolve discrepancies.
• Collaborate to integrate CAD and GIS data for visualization and analysis.
• Document processes, maintain records, and generate project reports.
