Job summary

IDOM Consulting, Engineering, Architecture is seeking a Senior Structural/Bridges Engineer to lead structural design and construction coordination in Riyadh. The role focuses on roads, highways, bridges, and tunnels within urban settings, ensuring design integrity and adherence to project goals.

Based in Riyadh, you will manage technical aspects across the project, liaising with the Technical Manager and home office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• SCE membership must be provided with CV.
• Formal affiliations to RICS, IQS, ICES, CIOB encouraged.
• Over 15 years of experience in mega construction projects, mainly as a consultant.

Responsibilities

• Technical control of all structural works and coordination with other disciplines.
• Resolve design issues, coordinate with home office support.
• Advise on design changes and ensure contractual compliance.
• Review contractor submissions, shop drawings, materials, and design submissions.
• Final review of contractor drawings, schedules, and submittals for design intent.
• Assess value engineering proposals and report findings.
• Coordinate with supervision services team and act as liaison with Technical Manager.
