State Street in Riyadh seeks a Senior Associate to manage end-to-end post-trade custody operations for the Saudi Arabia market, covering settlement, cash & FX, corporate actions, and onboarding, aligned with Muqassa, Edaa and SAMA. The role follows Sunday to Thursday workdays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 3–5 years’ experience in custody/post-trade operations in the KSA market.
• Strong understanding of KSA post‑trade flow across Muqassa (clearing/CCP) and Edaa (CSD/settlement), and the implications of T+2 and DvP cash settlement via SAMA.

Responsibilities

• Clearing & settlement operations for Saudi Exchange transactions settling at Edaa, ensuring accurate, timely completion across cycles (T+2, T+0–T+5, T+0).
• Reconcile and validate trade/settlement obligations with client instructions and broker confirmations; investigate and resolve exceptions.
• Monitor settlement status, manage fails, follow Muqassa-defined fails workflows with Edaa rollover/cancellation as applicable.
• Ensure funding readiness for DvP settlement and cash reconciliations; cash settlement via SAMA.
• FX operations: process FX-related activities supporting settlement and client cash requirements.
• Corporate actions and income: manage entitlements, postings, reconciliations, coordinate vendor feeds and data teams.
• Client onboarding & investor identification: support onboarding/account setup per Edaa structures; ensure Investor ID capture.
• Messaging & controls: use SWIFT ISO 15022 and ISO 20022, maintain high STP and clear exception handling.
