Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Architecture or a related field from an accredited university.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in architectural design and project management within the construction industry.
- Proficiency in architectural software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp.
- Strong knowledge of the Saudi Building Code (SBC) and other relevant regulations.
- Registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE).
- Demonstrated experience in large-scale projects, including commercial, residential, and government developments.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural design process for large-scale construction and infrastructure projects ensuring alignment with project goals and client requirements.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including structural MEP and civil engineers to integrate architectural designs seamlessly.
- Review and approve architectural drawings specifications and materials to ensure compliance with the Saudi Building Code SBC and project standards.
- Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress verify adherence to design specifications and address any architectural issues.
- Collaborate with project managers and contractors to resolve design challenges and ensure timely project delivery.
- Ensure compliance with sustainability standards such as Mostadam and LEED incorporating green building practices into designs.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for stakeholders outlining design concepts progress updates and technical recommendations.
- Manage the submission and approval process for architectural designs with local authorities and regulatory bodies.
- Develop and maintain project documentation including design briefs technical reports and as-built drawings.
- Mentor junior architects and engineers fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development
