Job summary

Valleysoft in Riyadh is seeking an experienced API Connect Developer to design, implement, and govern enterprise APIs across complex environments. You will collaborate with architects, developers, QA, security, and DevOps to ensure reliable, scalable integrations and secure API deployments.

The role requires 6–8 years in API management, strong IBM API Connect expertise, and hands-on work with REST, OpenAPI, OAuth2.0, and TLS/SSL. fluency in English and Arabic for local stakeholder coordination.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field and 6–8 years of hands-on API management experience.
Proven IBM API Connect expertise, including design, configuration, security policies, and lifecycle management.
Strong experience with REST, OpenAPI/Swagger, OAuth 2.0, and API security across complex environments.

Responsibilities

Develop, configure, and maintain APIs using IBM API Connect.
Design and implement RESTful APIs based on business and technical requirements.
Manage the full API lifecycle: development, testing, deployment, versioning, retirement.
Configure API Gateway policies for authentication, authorization, security, rate limiting, and routing.
Implement API security using OAuth 2.0, JWT, TLS/SSL, and related mechanisms.
Develop and maintain API definitions using OpenAPI and Swagger.
Configure products, plans, applications, subscriptions, and consumer access.
Support API Developer Portal and API publishing processes.
Integrate APIs with backend apps, databases, middleware, and external systems.
Collaborate with solution architects, developers, QA, security, and DevOps teams.
Prepare technical documentation, deployment guides, and support procedures.
