Job summary

Hungerstation, part of Delivery Hero Group, in Riyadh, is seeking a Senior Android Engineer to join the team. You will contribute as a significant individual contributor and collaborate with product and QA teams to deliver high-quality mobile experiences.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of mobile development, strong knowledge of Kotlin, Android lifecycle, MAD practices, and a proven track record of building modular, scalable apps.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience, with strong Android foundation.

Responsibilities

• Keep abreast of the latest software development methodologies to provide best-in-class software solutions.
• Analyze product requirements to understand engineering requirements, evaluate feasibility, estimate efforts, and provide solutions with Product Team.
• Assist in building development components and managing programming of solution components to transform requirements into working software.
• Document all coding steps to ensure comprehensibility and facilitate future maintenance.
• Responsible for writing unit, integration, and UI / Snapshot tests.
• Investigate and resolve issues and bugs through patches and other means.
• Collaborate with colleagues on code reviews and deliver code review reports.
• Perform functional and module testing to ensure delivered functionality.
• Monitor, evaluate and report on product development and recommend improvements.
• Assist in user trials and acceptance testing.
