Job summary

Artefact is seeking an experienced Senior Data Scientist / Data Science Manager to lead advanced AI and data science projects for client organisations. You will own problem definitions, design AI/ML solutions, and guide projects from concept to implementation.

This senior, client-facing role requires strong business understanding, consulting skills, and the ability to challenge requirements. You will collaborate with stakeholders across our global teams to deliver measurable client impact.

Qualifications

• Senior-level experience in Data Science, ML, AI or related field with a track record of owning and delivering complex projects.
• Master's degree in a quantitative field (ML/CS/Math/Engineering).
• Strong hands-on background across ML, DS, and AI.
• Experience with Generative AI, LLMs, and AI Agents / agentic AI architectures.
• Experience translating business problems into technical AI/ML solutions and selecting models and approaches.
• Consulting or highly client-facing environment preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Azure and the Microsoft ecosystem; Azure AI services are a plus.
• Proven ability to lead technical discussions and mentor teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI & Data Science projects from problem definition through delivery.
• Translate business challenges into AI/ML solutions, architectures, models, and use cases.
• Evaluate approaches and recommend solutions based on business value, feasibility, scalability, and performance.
• Ensure quality and successful delivery with measurable client impact.
• Identify risks and communicate trade-offs to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor to clients and guide项目 from use-case to implementation.
