Job summary

Tamkeen Technologies is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer to oversee the healthy state of security controls. The role emphasizes data classification, AVs, email gateways, endpoint encryptions, PAM, NAC, and MFA within a Linux environment.

You will design, deploy, and monitor controls, investigate incidents, and maintain documentation. Strong communication skills are required to explain complex security topics to diverse stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of experience in cybersecurity with a focus on security controls.
• Strong knowledge of security control mechanisms and their deployment.
• Experience in Linux environments and managing security controls within Linux.
• Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and deploy security controls to protect critical assets.
• Monitor performance and effectiveness of security controls.
• Troubleshoot and resolve security control issues and open vendor tickets if needed.
• Investigate security incidents or anomalies related to controls.
• Document configurations, processes, and incidents; generate status reports.
