Job summary

You will design, deploy, and monitor controls, investigate incidents, and maintain documentation. Strong communication skills are required to explain complex security topics to diverse stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of experience in cybersecurity with a focus on security controls.
• Strong knowledge of security control mechanisms and their deployment.
• Experience in Linux environments and managing security controls within Linux.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and deploy security controls to protect critical assets.

We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong understanding of security control mechanisms. As a Security Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the healthy state of our security controls, with a particular focus on:

• Data classification.
• Antiviruses.
• Email Secure gateway.
• Endpoint Encryptions.
• PAM.
• NAC.
• MFA.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain security controls: Design, configure, and deploy security controls to protect our organization's critical assets. Ensure that the security controls are properly implemented and operating effectively.
• Monitor and assess security controls: Regularly monitor the performance and effectiveness of security controls.
• Troubleshooting and issue resolution: Identify and resolve security control issues promptly as well as open a ticket in the vendor support portal if the issue is not fixed.
• Investigate and troubleshoot security incidents or anomalies related to the implemented controls.
• Documentation and reporting: Maintain accurate documentation of security control configurations, processes, and incidents. Generate reports on the status, effectiveness, and improvements of security controls.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends: Continuously enhance your knowledge of the latest cybersecurity trends, technologies, and best practices. Apply this knowledge to improve security control frameworks and processes.

Experience

• 3 to 5 years of experience in the field of cybersecurity, with a focus on security controls.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with DLP, PAM, EDR, and SIEM.
• Solid knowledge of Linux operating systems and experience in managing security controls within a Linux environment.
• Troubleshooting skills: Ability to analyze and resolve security control issues effectively.
• Excellent communication skills: Ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
