  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Engaging, interactive, student-focused teaching style.
  • Based in Jeddah or willing to relocate to Jeddah.

Job description

The Math Teacher will be responsible for teaching Mathematics to Grades 4, 5, and 6 in Jeddah, delivering clear, engaging, and interactive lessons that help students build strong mathematical understanding and problem-solving skills. The role requires excellent subject knowledge, confident classroom delivery, and the ability to explain concepts naturally.

Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons for students in Grades 4, 5, and 6.

Teach mathematical concepts clearly and confidently using practical examples, demonstrations, and problem-solving activities.

Use interactive and student-centered teaching methods that encourage participation, questioning, critical thinking, and independent learning.

Deliver lessons in line with international curriculum standards and the school’s academic expectations.

Prepare lesson plans, classroom activities, homework, quizzes, examinations, and other learning materials.

Assess student performance, monitor individual progress, and provide clear feedback and additional support where needed.

Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning abilities and help students overcome difficulties in Mathematics.

Maintain a structured, positive, and engaging classroom environment.

Encourage students to develop strong numerical reasoning, analytical thinking, and confidence in Mathematics.

Collaborate with academic leadership, other teachers, and parents to support student development and academic performance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a closely related field.

Minimum 2 years of Mathematics teaching experience.

Experience teaching British or American school curricula is required.

Previous experience teaching elementary or lower-middle-school students, particularly Grades 4-6, is strongly preferred.

Excellent English communication skills with clear, confident pronunciation and classroom delivery.

Strong ability to explain mathematical concepts naturally without relying heavily on textbooks, slides, or prepared scripts.

Engaging, interactive, and student-focused teaching style.

Strong classroom management and communication skills.

Ability to develop students’ mathematical reasoning, problem-solving, and independent thinking.

Based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, or willing and able to relocate to Jeddah.
