Job summary

Egis is seeking a detail-oriented SCADA Operator PMO for its Urban Planning division in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role combines real-time SCADA operations with PMO responsibilities to support the planning, monitoring, and coordination of urban infrastructure projects.

The successful candidate will oversee SCADA systems, analyze data, generate reports, coordinate with project teams, maintain documentation, and ensure timelines and budgets align with PMO standards.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Human-Machine Interface (HMI) platforms and industrial control systems.

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical SCADA Operator PMO for our Urban Planning division in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role combines technical SCADA system operations with project management office responsibilities to support the planning, monitoring, and coordination of urban infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will oversee real-time control systems while ensuring project timelines, documentation, and resource allocation align with organizational objectives. You will play a critical role in maintaining operational efficiency and project delivery excellence across our urban planning initiatives.

• Monitor and operate SCADA systems to ensure continuous and reliable performance of urban infrastructure controls and data acquisition processes
• Analyze real-time system data and generate comprehensive reports on operational metrics, anomalies, and system performance
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure SCADA system implementations align with project schedules and deliverables
• Maintain detailed documentation of system operations, maintenance activities, and project milestones in accordance with PMO standards
• Troubleshoot technical issues and elevate complex problems to appropriate technical teams while maintaining operational continuity
• Support project planning activities by providing technical input on SCADA requirements and implementation timelines
• Organize and track project resources, schedules, and budget related to SCADA and urban infrastructure initiatives
• Conduct regular system audits and compliance checks to ensure adherence to operational and project management protocols
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, planners, and stakeholders to optimize system performance and project outcomes
• Prepare status reports and presentations for project stakeholders and management on operational and project progress

What do we need from you

• Proven experience operating and monitoring SCADA systems in industrial or infrastructure environments
• Strong knowledge of Human-Machine Interface (HMI) platforms and industrial control systems
• Demonstrated experience with project management office functions, including scheduling, documentation, and resource coordination
• Proficiency in data analysis and the ability to interpret complex operational metrics
• Familiarity with urban infrastructure systems, smart city technologies, or similar large-scale projects
• Experience with project management tools and software
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting and stakeholder engagement
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities
• Knowledge of PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) programming or industrial automation is preferred
• Experience in project coordination within the utilities, infrastructure, or urban planning sectors is preferred
• Familiarity with project management methodologies (PMI, Agile, or similar frameworks) is preferred
• Understanding of regulatory compliance and safety standards in industrial operations is preferred
