Job summary

MENA Consultant seeks a proactive Government Relations Officer (GRO) to manage visa, work permits, iqama, and regulatory filings in Saudi Arabia. You will ensure compliance with Saudi labor laws and coordinate with ministries and portals like Qiwa, Muqeem and Absher Business.

The role requires at least 2 years of GRO experience, Saudi nationality, and a diploma or bachelor’s in a related field. Fluent Arabic and English are essential for internal and external communications.

Qualifications

• Saudi National (mandatory).
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Government Relations (GRO) within Saudi Arabia.
• Hands-on experience with Qiwa, Muqeem, Absher Business and other government platforms.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi labor law, visa regulations, and government procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Process visa-related activities: issuance, renewal, transfer, cancellation, and exit/re-entry visas.
• Handle work permit and residency (Iqama) procedures.
• Manage transactions through government portals (Qiwa, Muqeem, Absher Business).
• Liaise with government entities (MHRSD, Jawazat) and other authorities.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and immigration regulations.
• Prepare, submit, and track government applications and official documentation.
• Monitor expiry dates for visas, Iqama, and work permits.
• Maintain accurate records of government transactions and employee documents.
• Coordinate with internal teams for onboarding and offboarding.
• Stay updated on changes in Saudi labor laws and regulations.
