Job summary

MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company SA in Dammam seeks a Sales Executive to manage rates, quotations and project logistics across Saudi Arabia. You will coordinate with internal teams, carriers and POLs to ensure timely execution and accurate rate filing.

The role requires strong commercial acumen, fluent English and Arabic, and proficiency in MS Office and TMS systems. This position offers full-time employment at MSC Dammam.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3-5 years of freight forwarding, project logistics, or related commercial/operational roles.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for Projects daily commercial and operational execution of the Projects Department.
• File and maintain accurate freight and service rates on the TMS.
• Prepare and submit daily spot quotations to clients in line with company pricing policy.
• Coordinate with Medlog on on-carriage shipment arrangements to ensure timely execution.
• Coordinate with Ports of Loading (POLs) to track shipment readiness, documentation, and loading schedules.
• Report daily commercial activities and shipment status updates.
• Assist in preparing bids and quotations.
• Support contract review and ensure adherence to client SLAs at the operational level.
• Liaise with POL’s, counterparts in other divisions internally to resolve day-to-day operational issues.
• Escalate risks, delays, or discrepancies to the Projects Manager in a timely manner.

We are searching for an experienced Sales Executive at our MSC Dammam facility.

Job Purpose

Responsible for Projects department execution of the day-to-dayoperational and commercial activities in Saudi Arabia, including ratemanagement, client quotations, and coordination with POL’s and portsoperation teams , ensuring smooth and timely execution of all projectshipments.

Required Qualifications

• 1-Minimum Qualification Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply ChainManagement, International Trade, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2-Minimum Experience A minimum of 3-5years of experience in freight forwarding, project logistics, or relatedcommercial/operational roles.
• 3-Technical Competencies (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities) Proficiency in using TMS (Transport Management System) platforms for rate filing and shipment tracking.
• Strong commercial acumen for preparing accurate and timely spot quotations.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
• Fluent verbal and written English; bilingual in Arabic and English.
• Strong coordination and communication skills across internal teams, carriers, and POLs.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple daily priorities.
• Knowledge of INCOTERMS and basic customs/documentation requirements.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in rate filing and reporting.
