Job summary

The Arab Lens is seeking a Sales Director to lead its commercial function in Riyadh, directing regional and national sales teams to grow revenue and build key customer partnerships.

Reporting to executive leadership, you will define sales strategy, set targets, coach teams, and collaborate with Marketing, Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain to achieve sustainable results in the GCC markets. Fluency in English required; Arabic is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline.
  • MBA or postgraduate qualification is considered an advantage.
  • 12+ years of progressive sales leadership experience.
  • Proven track record of leading high-performing commercial teams.
  • Experience developing and executing national or regional sales strategies.
  • Strong commercial, financial, and strategic planning capabilities.
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working within GCC markets is preferred.
  • Fluency in English is required; Arabic would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Establish annual sales targets budgets and performance objectives
  • Lead and develop regional and national sales teams
  • Drive customer acquisition and long-term account development
  • Strengthen relationships with strategic customers and distribution partners
  • Monitor sales performance and implement corrective actions where required
  • Collaborate with Marketing Finance Operations and Supply Chain to support commercial objectives
  • Evaluate new market opportunities and expansion strategies
  • Lead major commercial negotiations and contract discussions
  • Develop accurate sales forecasts and executive reports
  • Monitor market trends competitor activities and customer insights
  • Build a performance-driven sales culture through coaching succession planning and talent development
