Job summary

Magrabi Health is seeking a Safety Technician to support health, safety, fire prevention and environmental safety programs across its hospitals and centers in Jeddah. You will conduct inspections, identify hazards, and help maintain a safe environment for patients, staff and visitors.

Responsibilities include monitoring compliance, supporting incident investigations, drills, PPE and hazardous materials handling, and ensuring readiness for regulatory inspections and accreditation audits.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Occupational Safety, EHS, Fire Safety, Eng. Technology, or related field.
• Fire/Occupational Safety Certification mandatory.
• BLS certification preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant safety experience, healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine safety inspections across clinical and non-clinical areas.
• Identify hazards and unsafe practices; follow corrective actions to closure.
• Inspect fire safety equipment, emergency exits, fire doors, evacuation routes.
• Support fire drills, emergency preparedness, and evacuation activities.
• Monitor PPE compliance and safe working practices.
• Support hazard identification, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
• Monitor contractor compliance with safety requirements.
• Inspect hazardous material storage and support chemical and waste safety practices.
• Maintain safety, incident, inspection, training, and compliance records.
• Support employee safety orientation, awareness campaigns, and training.
• Ensure readiness for regulatory and accreditation inspections.
