Job summary

Al Watania For Industries is seeking an experienced HSE professional to implement and monitor safety policies across the Riyadh facility. The role involves risk assessments, inspections, incident investigations, and training to ensure Saudi regulations and ISO 45001 compliance.

You will coordinate with multiple departments, supervise PTW/LOTO processes, and drive continual safety improvements through reporting and action closure.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Safety Engineering, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in Occupational Health & Safety / HSE, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of risk assessment, hazard identification, incident investigation, and safety inspections.
  • Good knowledge of OSHA, ISO 45001, and applicable Saudi HSE regulations.
  • Good communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to conduct safety training and toolbox talks.
  • NEBOSH / IOSH / OSHA certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and safety programs across the facility/site.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and hazard identifications.
  • Ensure compliance with Saudi HSE regulations, OSHA standards, and company safety requirements.
  • Investigate workplace accidents, incidents, and near misses; identify root causes and corrective actions.
  • Monitor safe work practices including PTW, LOTO, working at height, confined space, and hot work.
  • Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and awareness training for employees and contractors.
  • Monitor proper use of PPE and safety equipment.
  • Prepare and maintain HSE reports, inspection records, incident reports, and safety statistics.
  • Support emergency preparedness, including fire prevention, emergency response, and evacuation drills.
  • Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, and other departments to mitigate safety risks.
  • Follow up on corrective and preventive actions and ensure timely closure.
  • Monitor contractors' compliance with company safety standards.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of the company's Safety Culture and HSE performance.

Job description
