Rosewood Red Sea seeks an inspiring Explorer Manager to lead the Explorer Club, creating engaging, educational, and enriching experiences for children while supporting unforgettable family holidays. Reporting to the Director of Wellness & Spa, the Explorer Manager will oversee all children's programming, Explorer Club operations, babysitting services, and family experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field such as Early Childhood Education, Education, Recreation Management, Hospitality Management or Child Development.
• Experience leading kids clubs or family recreation in luxury environments.
• Knowledge of safeguarding, risk management, health and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operation of the Explorer Club and ensure exceptional experiences for children and families.
• Design and deliver innovative programs across recreation, education, culture, environment, and wellness for various age groups.
• Recruit, train, and coach the Explorer team to meet Forbes Five-Star and Rosewood service standards.
• Ensure child safety, hygiene, and operational excellence.
• Develop seasonal programs, family events, and destination-inspired experiences for the Red Sea environment.
• Oversee babysitting services and ensure safe, professional delivery according to hotel policies.
• Build relationships with families through personalized service and memorable experiences.
• Manage scheduling, budgeting, payroll, inventory, and operations for the department.
• Collaborate with Wellness & Spa, F&B, Housekeeping, Engineering, Concierge, and other departments to create integrated family experiences.
• Identify opportunities to enhance guest satisfaction and elevate Explorer Club.

We are seeking an inspiring and passionate Explorer Manager to lead our Explorer Club, creating engaging, educational, and enriching experiences for children while supporting exceptional family holidays.

Reporting to the Director of Wellness & Spa, the Explorer Manager will oversee all children's programming, Explorer Club operations, babysitting services, and family experiences. This role is responsible for leading a team dedicated to delivering safe, creative, and personalized activities that reflect Rosewood's philosophy of Relationship Hospitality.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the daily operation of the Explorer Club, ensuring exceptional experiences for children and families.
• Design and deliver innovative recreational, educational, cultural, environmental, and wellness-inspired programs for children of different age groups.
• Recruit, train, coach, and inspire the Explorer team to deliver Forbes Five-Star and Rosewood service standards.
• Ensure the highest standards of child safety, safeguarding, hygiene, and operational excellence.
• Develop seasonal programs, themed activities, family events, and destination-inspired experiences that celebrate the unique environment of the Red Sea.
• Oversee babysitting services, ensuring they are delivered safely, professionally, and in accordance with hotel policies.
• Build meaningful relationships with families by providing personalized service and memorable experiences.
• Manage departmental scheduling, budgeting, payroll, inventory, and operational performance.
• Collaborate with Wellness & Spa, Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, Engineering, Concierge, and other departments to create integrated family experiences.
• Continuously identify opportunities to enhance guest satisfaction and elevate the Explorer Club experience.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, Recreation Management, Hospitality Management, Child Development, Leisure Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience managing a Kids Club, Family Recreation, Children's Program, or Explorer Club within a luxury or ultra-luxury hotel, resort, cruise line, or family destination.
• Proven leadership experience, managing multicultural teams and developing children's recreational programs.
• Strong knowledge of child safeguarding, risk management, health and safety, and emergency procedures.
• Experience in planning family events, educational activities, and destination-inspired children's programming.
• Previous experience managing budgets, payroll, scheduling, inventory, and departmental operations.
• Current Pediatric First Aid, CPR, and Child Safeguarding certification is highly desirable.
• Excellent spoken and written English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Professional appearance with a genuine passion for luxury hospitality, family experiences, and child development.
