Job summary

Egis Group in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia seeks an experienced Rolling Stock Lead for Rail PMCM to oversee planned maintenance and condition management of the fleet. You will lead maintenance professionals, drive improvements, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance across operations.

You will develop PMCM strategies, optimize schedules, manage budgets, and collaborate with operations, engineering, and safety teams to maximize availability and minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years of rolling stock maintenance or rail fleet management experience.
• Minimum 3 years of leadership experience managing maintenance teams.
• Strong PMCM principles knowledge and implementation.
• Expertise in rolling stock systems, components, and maintenance requirements.
• Experience with maintenance software and CMMS.
• Knowledge of rail safety standards and compliance.
• Ability to analyze maintenance data and optimize processes.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Budget management and resource allocation experience.
• Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma or similar methods.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.
• Experience with SAP or ERP systems preferred.
• Middle Eastern rail sector experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise rolling stock maintenance teams with technical guidance and performance management.
• Develop and optimize PMCM strategies aligned with company objectives.
• Oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance to maximize availability and minimize downtime.
• Analyze maintenance data and metrics to identify trends and schedule optimizations.
• Manage maintenance budgets, resources, and procurement activities.
• Coordinate with operations, engineering, and safety teams for seamless integration.
• Establish and enforce maintenance standards, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor rolling stock condition via inspections and diagnostics using condition-based maintenance.
• Develop and maintain maintenance documentation and training materials.
• Drive continuous improvement and implement best practices in maintenance management.
