Qualifications

• Over three years of experience in the railway industry.
• Robust mechanical mindset and understanding of rolling stock mechanisms.
• Experience operating an under-floor wheel lathe preferred.
• Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, multi-priority management.
• Experience in shunting and operating engineering vehicles or locomotives advantageous.
• Diploma in electrical or mechanical engineering or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist Rolling Stock Team Leader with preventive and corrective maintenance on rolling stock.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and replace consumables.
• Perform fault diagnostics and component replacement on rolling stock.
• Follow Permit to Work and LOTO procedures during maintenance.
• Carry out shift and emergency responsibilities.
• Turn wheels on the under-floor wheel lathe.
• Maintain safe work practices and adhere to maintenance schedules.
