We are seeking a registered nurse with home health experience to coordinate nursing and medical care for Home Care patients in the Riyadh region. The role includes symptom management, wound care, and IV/infusion support within a single-status contract.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (online/distance education programs cannot be considered).
• Current nursing (RN) license.
• Minimum of two years current experience as an RN in home health.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and provide nursing/medical care.
• Symptom control and pain management.
• Tracheotomy care and tube changes.
• Enteral feeding and wound care.
• Vascular access care and catheterization.
• Intravenous antimicrobial infusion.

Job description

Summary:

Home Care patients are classified into:

• Long term conditions: admitted to the program with no plans of discharge, e.g.,
  • Palliative patients
  • End of life patients
  • Home Mechanically Ventilated Patients (HMVP)
  • Home Hemodialysis Patients (HHDP)
  • Home Parenteral Nutrition Patients (HPNP)
  • Home Enzyme Replacement Patients (HERP)
  • Other patients whose individual needs are addressed case by case
• Short term conditions: admitted to the program for a period that ranges from 1 month to 6 months.

Functions in HHC include:

• coordination and provision of nursing/medical care
• symptom control and pain management
• tracheotomy tube change and care
• gastrostomy tube change and care
• nebulizers, oropharyngeal and tracheal suctioning
• indwelling and intermittent urinary catheterization, bladder irrigation
• diabetic care
• enteral feeds
• wound care and vacuum wound care
• vascular access device care
• ostomy care
• subcutaneous fluid and pain control medication infusions
• intravenous antimicrobial infusion

Average patient care monthly visits: 1200 visits

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (online/distance education programs cannot be considered)
• Current nursing (RN) license
• Must have a minimum of two years current experience as an RN in home health
