The Hemodialysis (HD) Unit is recruiting a registered nurse to support acute and chronic dialysis services, including CRRT planning and care for adult and pediatric patients. You will monitor patients, coordinate with clinical teams and ensure safe, effective treatment delivery in a high-acuity environment.
Applicants must hold a Bachelor's degree in Nursing, a current RN license, and at least two years' RN experience in Hemodialysis in a tertiary hospital.
The Hemodialysis (HD) Unit provides renal replacement therapies (RRT) including: acute hemodialysis, chronic hemodialysis, hemofiltration, hemodiafiltration. In addition, it supports preparation of continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT) for adult and pediatric patients. The patients are categorized as having acute renal failure or end stage renal disease and many have multiple co-morbidities. Care is provided to patients of all ages including neonates. Their treatment regimen requires close monitoring and prompt nursing intervention when necessary to ensure a safe, effective and comfortable treatment.
Approximately 2,800-3,000 RRT sessions per month.
