Job summary

Parsons is seeking an experienced Risk Manager to join our site-based construction supervision team in Diriyah, Saudi Arabia, overseeing a major public realm development with parks, open spaces, and extensive streetscape. The role requires directing risk identification, mitigation, and reporting across multi-discipline engineering projects.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management with 15+ years of related supervisory experience and strong knowledge

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management (or related field).
• 15+ years of related experience including supervisory/managerial roles.
• Basic knowledge in electrical, mechanical, or civil engineering.
• Proficient in Project Controls Software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Provides guidance to identify and quantify project risks and mitigation strategies.
• Interfaces with clients; attends meetings and delivers statistical risk reports.
• Works with PCM staff to analyze costs and schedule performance.
• Assesses risks from design/construction changes and schedule slippages.
• Maintains system showing plan and schedule hierarchies; informs management.
• Coordinates risk activities; assigns and supervises project risks work.
• Recommends customization of the project risks register for the project.
• Produces recurring or one-off statistical risk reports for management.
• Supports business development with background data presentations.
• May deliver informal or formal presentations.
• Performs other responsibilities as required.

Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an exceptionally talented Risk Manager to join our site-based construction supervision team on a major public realm development in Diriyah, which includes a series of iconic and neighborhood parks, open spaces, and over 55 kilometers of streetscape. The objective of this program is to create a vibrant, inclusive environment that enhances livability, accessibility, and community well-being.

Responsibilities:

• Provides guidance, direction, and specialized assistance to project for identifying project risks, quantification, levels of risks and mitigation
• Interfaces with clients, attends regular meetings, and provides statistical reports.
• Works along other PCM staff who are qualified to analyze, evaluate, and forecast project costs, as well as performance against an established schedule with critical milestones.
• Assesses the risk(s) associated with design/construction changes and schedule slippages.
• Oversees the development and maintenance of an established system to show the hierarchy of plans and schedules; keeps project and company management fully informed.
• Coordinates requirements, assigns and supervises project work risks activities,.
• Recommends and oversees the customization of project risks register to meet specific project requirements.
• Creates statistical reports for management on a recurring or one-of-a-kind basis.
• Participates in business development efforts by gathering and presenting a variety of background data.
• May be required to make informal or formal presentations.
• Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management (or related field).
• 15+ years of related experience, including supervisory/managerial experience.
• Requires basic engineering knowledge in electrical, mechanical, civil, or a related field.
• Proficient PC skills including a proficiency in various Project Controls Software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Proven ability to perform in a supervisory capacity.
• Thorough knowledge of industry practices is required.
• Incumbent must meet Parsons Project Controls Manager Certification requirements.
