Job summary

DAR AL RIYADH is seeking a seasoned Risk Manager to lead and oversee risk analysis across large-scale engineering, EPC, or infrastructure projects based in Riyadh. You will conduct qualitative and quantitative risk assessments, develop risk registers, and support controls with cross-functional teams.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, a master’s degree or PMI-RMP/FRM/CRM certification, and at least 10 years of risk management experience in capital

Qualifications

  • Proven 10+ years in risk management within engineering, construction or capital projects.
  • Experience supporting large-scale engineering, EPC, PMC, or infrastructure projects.
  • Strong knowledge of risk management processes including identification, analysis, mitigation, monitoring and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Identify assess and monitor project risks throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Develop and maintain risk registers mitigation plans and contingency strategies.
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative risk assessments including schedule and cost risk analysis.
  • Perform risk workshops with project teams and stakeholders to identify and evaluate project risks.
  • Analyze impact of risks on project cost schedule quality and objectives.
  • Monitor risk mitigation actions and ensure timely implementation by teams.
  • Prepare risk reports dashboards and presentations for project management and leadership.
  • Support project planning by integrating risk assessments with schedules budgets and forecasts.
  • Utilize risk management software to perform simulations and scenario analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with risk frameworks policies and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with project controls planning cost engineering and commercial teams.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor risk mitigation actions and ensure timely implementation by project teams
  • Prepare risk reports dashboards and presentations for project management and executive leadership
  • Support project planning by integrating risk assessments with project schedules budgets and forecasts
  • Utilize risk management software to perform risk simulations and scenario analysis
  • Ensure compliance with organizational risk management frameworks policies and industry best practices
  • Collaborate with project controls planning cost engineering and commercial teams to support informed decision-making
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, Risk Management, or a related discipline.
  • Master's Degree or professional certification such as PMI-RMP, FRM, CRM, or equivalent is preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in risk management or risk analysis within engineering, construction, infrastructure, or capital projects.
  • Proven experience supporting large-scale engineering, EPC, PMC, or infrastructure projects.
  • Proficiency in Primavera Risk Analysis, @Risk, RiskWatch, or equivalent risk management software.
  • Strong knowledge of project risk management processes, including risk identification, analysis, mitigation, monitoring, and reporting.
  • Experience in qualitative and quantitative risk analysis, including Monte Carlo simulation and scenario analysis.
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and advanced Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Power Query, advanced formulas, dashboards).
  • Knowledge of project cost estimation, budgeting, forecasting, and schedule analysis.
  • Strong analytical, reporting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced project environment.
