Job summary

Hill International (Middle East) Ltd. is seeking a senior risk management professional to lead identification, assessment, and mitigation across major infrastructure programs.

You will collaborate with clients, PMCs, consultants and contractors to maintain risk registers and drive informed decision making. Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree in a related field, a Risk Management Professional certification, and 15+ years of experience in project controls with ERM knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related discipline.
• Risk Management Professional (RMP) or equivalent certification.
• 15+ years of experience in engineering and/or project management with demonstrated risk management on large infra/mega projects.
• Working knowledge of project controls, cost, schedule, contracts, and claims risk.
• Experience identifying and managing cost, schedule, quality, and safety risks.
• Familiarity with risk management systems and databases (e.g. Active Risk Manager).
• Understanding of ERM principles at project level.
• Strong analytical, coordination, and facilitation skills.
• Good written and verbal communication with clients and consultants.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Identify, assess and monitor project risks across all phases of the project lifecycle.
• Develop, update and maintain Project Risk Registers/Mitigations.
• Coordinate and facilitate risk review workshops with Client, PMC, team, consultants and contractors.
• Elevate risks and issues to management in a timely manner.
• Prepare and update risk mitigation and response plans and monitor implementation.
• Report on key risks, trends and mitigation effectiveness via periodic risk reports.
• Maintain risk data within approved risk management tools and databases.
• Ensure compliance with Hill International's policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Line Manager.

Responsibilities

Identify assess and monitor project risks across all phases of the project lifecycle Develop update and maintain Project Program PMC Risk Registers Coordinate and facilitate regular risk review workshops with the Client PMC team consultants and contractors as required Clearly define risks challenges and issues and elevate them to management in a timely manner Prepare and update risk mitigation and response plans and monitor implementation Report on key risks trends and mitigation effectiveness through periodic risk reports Support development and application of risk probability and impact matrices Support risk identification related to cost schedule quality safety and procurement Provide risk input during pre-construction design procurement and construction stages Support review of contracts procurement strategies and delivery methods from a risk perspective Assist in assessing risks associated with different project delivery systems lump sum cost-plus target cost etc Participate in meetings with clients consultants and contractors to identify and evaluate risk issues Maintain risk data within approved risk management tools and databases Ensure compliance with Hill Internationals Quality Environmental Safety and Occupational Health policies and procedures Perform other duties as assigned by the Line Manager.
