Job summary

Systems Arabia is seeking a Red Hat Linux Administrator to manage enterprise RHEL environments across development, testing, and production. You will handle installation, patching, hardening, monitoring, and incident response to ensure reliability and security.

The role requires 4–6 years of hands-on Linux experience, strong RHEL expertise, and proficiency with scripting (Shell) or Ansible. ITIL-aligned operations and 24x7 support are part of the environment.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of hands-on Linux system administration experience in enterprise environments.
• Strong expertise in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) administration and troubleshooting.
• Good understanding of Linux networking, filesystems, storage, DNS, SSH, systemd, processes, and permissions.
• Experience with OS patching, server hardening, vulnerability remediation, and configuration management.
• Hands-on experience with Shell scripting and/or Ansible.
• Familiarity with monitoring, logging, backup, and enterprise infrastructure tools.
• Experience in 24x7 production support and ITIL-based operational processes.
• RHCSA/RHCE certification or equivalent experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) servers across enterprise environments.
• Perform OS installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, and system hardening.
• Monitor server health, performance, capacity, availability, and troubleshoot system issues.
• Manage users, groups, permissions, services, filesystems, processes, and system configurations.
• Support production environments and participate in incident, problem, and change management.
• Implement security best practices, vulnerability remediation, and configuration standards.
• Automate routine tasks using Shell scripting and/or Ansible.
• Maintain technical documentation and operational records.
