Job summary

ABYAT in Saudi Arabia seeks a Fit-Out Site Engineer to lead interior finish-out projects on site, ensuring work follows drawings, specs, and safety rules. You will coordinate with MEP teams, subcontractors, and suppliers, supervise daily activities, verify measurements, and manage handover readiness with quality control and snagging.

Required 3–6 years in interior fit-out and strong knowledge of finishing, materials, and construction sequencing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Architecture, or a related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in interior fit-out and site execution.
• Experience in residential, retail, commercial, hospitality, or high-end interior projects.
• Strong knowledge of finishing works, materials, installation methods, and construction sequencing.
• Good understanding of architectural, shop, and MEP

Responsibilities

• Site Execution & Supervision: Supervise daily fit-out activities per drawings and specs.
• Technical & Drawing Coordination: Review drawings and coordinate modifications with designers and PMs.
• MEP Coordination: Align finishing works with electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and fire systems.
• Subcontractor & Workforce Coordination: Manage subcontractors and on-site teams to plan activities.
• Materials & Installation: Check material delivery, storage, and installation quality.
• Quality Control: Inspect ongoing works and ensure conformance to standards.
• Project Progress & Reporting: Track progress and update schedules; prepare snag lists.
• Health & Safety: Enforce HSE rules and maintain safe site conditions.
• Pre-handover & Handover: Support inspectors and client walkthroughs with proper documentation.
