Job summary

Batterjee Medical College is seeking a qualified Research Coordinator to support the administration, coordination, and development of the College’s research activities.

The role covers day-to-day operations of the Research Unit, including ethics approvals, data management, and regulatory compliance, working with faculty, students, and external partners to ensure efficient research operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific, medical, health sciences, or research-related field.
• Master’s degree in a relevant field is preferred and considered an advantage.
• Additional training or certification in Research Methodology, Research Ethics, Clinical Research, or related areas is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the daily administrative activities of the Research Unit.
• Assist in preparing research proposals, ethics applications, and documentation for IRBs.
• Maintain accurate research records, databases, and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate research-related meetings, workshops, events, and activities.
• Prepare regular research reports and operational updates.
• Monitor ongoing research activities and follow up on required deliverables.
• Provide administrative and operational support to faculty and students throughout research processes.
• Guide researchers on required processes and documentation.
• Support data collection and basic research analysis.
• Promote research activities and encourage participation.
• Ensure compliance with institutional guidelines and ethical standards.
