Job summary

The Mechanical Technician role at a power and water facility in Saudi Arabia focuses on preventive, corrective, and condition-based maintenance of mechanical systems, supporting outages, equipment overhauls, and troubleshooting to ensure reliability.

You will follow established procedures and safety standards, maintain 5S housekeeping, coordinate with supervisors and operators to isolate equipment, and contribute to continuous improvement within a challenging industrial environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent required.
• Minimum 4 years hands-on mechanical maintenance experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred.
• Strong understanding of static and rotating equipment and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, corrective, and condition-based maintenance on plant mechanical equipment.
• Support annual shutdowns, outages, equipment overhauls and major maintenance activities.
• Inspect, service, repair, and install static and rotating equipment.
• Diagnose faults and complete required repairs within the assigned area.
• Record equipment conditions and maintenance findings in service history.
• Coordinate with supervisors to ensure proper equipment isolation before work.
